Sing with Us

Both Gracenote and Kôr are auditioned choirs. Auditions are held each summer and occasionally in December/January. Auditions involve a warm up, range check, blend check, and audition song performance. We do not require singers to have any specific background experience or education in music. We hold auditions to make sure new singers have some basic music ability (pitch matching, harmonizing, maintaining rhythm) and to assess singer range in order to keep our choir sections balanced. We also make sure new singers are aware of and interested in the commitment we require and the community we foster. ​
